WestWay has a vital and exciting Sunday morning education program.
There are classes for Nursery through High School and adult classes
meeting at different times throughout the morning. These classes
concentrate on study of the scriptures and their relevancy in today’s
world. Contact the church office for details.
-ongoing- The church participates in serving the needy of the community. This includes food baskets at holiday times and serving at the Scottsbluff area Soup Kitchen.
-ongoing- “Green Thumb” type volunteers have taken on this project to keep the outside of the facility in an attractive and welcome manner.
This includes shrubbery, trees, and
flowers.

-Meeting most evenings of the week, some groups during the day
There are many One Another Fellowship Groups that meet throughout the
week in homes & at the church. These groups give the opportunity to
develop the relationships and fellowship necessary within the Body of
Christ. The members in the groups affirm and accept one another, are
available for support, pray regularly for one another, are honest in
sharing, give honest feedback, are sensitive to each member’s need, &

-ongoing- Parish Health Ministry promotes health in body, mind, & spirit through education, prevention, & advocacy. A group of health professionals within the body of WestWay are proactive in helping the members identify healthy lifestyles.

-ongoing- This group meets at the front of the Celebration Center in time to be an active part of the Sunday morning service. The group is able to participate in the song service and listen to the Word of God proclaimed through the services of a facilitator.

-Sunday Mornings, Special Events- This ministry is trained to greet people as they come in the doors on Sunday morning, pass out the bulletin as people enter
the Celebration Center and serve Communion and
offering.

This group provides many service
ministries to the body of Christ including some mentioned in this
brochure. Those already detailed include Soup Kitchen, Bread of Life,
and Pantry. In addition, some other services provided by WestWay Women
include the organization of various Receptions, Funeral Dinners,
Hospitality, Linger Longers, Baptismal, Kitchen Upkeep, Courtesy, and
Nursery. This ministry also coordinates the banquets that WestWay
sponsors. In addition, there are special events planned throughout the
year like salad suppers and ladies retreats. All women are welcome and
encouraged to share in anything of interest.
