Core Values & Vision

Look outside any Panhandle home and you can see the effects of Wind. Check any farm around and you can see the need for Water. Wind and Water serve as two strong symbols for our student ministries at WestWay.

There is a very strong Biblical link between wind and the Holy Spirit of God. In our student ministries we want to be driven by that Divine Wind. We want to pursue His mission in the world, not our own amusement or entertainment. God is at work, and we are joining Him.

Jesus once said to his followers that if they gave a cup of cold water to a thirsty stranger, they'd given it to him. He didn't withhold love from anyone who came to him seeking it. In our student ministries, we are sharing the love of Christ with people who are thirsty for it.

Wind and Water. The Mission of God's Spirit and the Love of His Son. Bringing students to life... and bringing life to students. The vision of our student ministries is to be as wind and water, revealing God to students.

These statements represent what lies beneath the things we do and how we do them. We will reflect these values in all facets of our student ministry.
