Thinking back to the various ministries of Jesus (evangelism, nurture, and benevolence):
- Review the gospels and place into categories various encounters that Jesus had with people. Do some fit into more than one category? Discuss.
- What ministries are you aware of that “only” fit into one of these categories? Why might this be the case?
- Is one of these categories more “valuable” than another? Why?
Considering the “E-Scale” of missions:
- Which do you have experience with? Share a little of your experience with others.
- Which do you usually consider to be “real mission work”?
- Which do you think that you ought to be more involved with? Why
- Which do you think WestWay ought to be more involved with? Are there any we should be less involved with?Why?
