“I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief.” In one sentence, the father of a demon-possessed boy clearly states the experience of most, if not every, Christian. Surrounded by uncertainty, we’re looking to trust in God with everything and that trust is often marked with questions.

Today’s texts are: Mark 9:14-29, Matthew 14:22-29 and Matthew 28:1-10 and 16-20.

Questions for Disussion:
- Talk about the role doubt plays in the life of a Christian and in your own life. Is it wrong to doubt? Why or why not?
- Read Matthew 14:22-32. Why did Peter jump out of the boat? What did he think would happen? How did Jesus respond to Peter’s doubt?
- Read Matthew 28:1-10 and 16-20. With Jesus standing in front of them, what does it mean that “some of them doubted”? How did Jesus respond to their doubt?
- How has this message encouraged or challenged you? What does God want us to do with our doubt?
