What To Expect

All Are Welcome At WestWay Christian Church

We know visiting a church for the first time can be a little intimidating. Our goal is to help you feel welcome and make a connection with Jesus and with his people.

Common Questions

We want your first visit to be great!

Here are questions many people ask when visiting our church for the first time:

the 1015

What is "The 1015"?

The 1015 is our weekly gathering. We meet Sunday at 10:15am in person and online.

Meet

Where are you located and what time do you meet?

WestWay Christian Church meets each Sunday at 10:15am.

Wednesdays @ WestWay is for all ages. It meets each Wednesdays from the start of September through the end of April at 6:00 pm

We are located at 1701 West 27th in Scottsbluff, Nebraska .

Expect

What can I expect?

In total, our typical gathering time is 75-90 minutes in length. We will sing some songs with the words projected onto screens, one of our pastors will share a message from the Bible, celebrate Communion (open to all who call Jesus Lord), and collect our weekly offering (don’t feel obligated to give).

Kids

What about my kids?

We believe kids should have a blast at WestWay every single Sunday. We want them to feel welcomed and engaged.

On Sundays, all kids 5 year old - 4th graders start in the auditorium with the parents for the first 15 minutes to enjoy some worship songs. Then, parents have a choice. Some parents keep their children with them in our auditorium. while others prefer to send their children to WestWay Kids. A staffed nursery is also available.

Grow in your faith all week long, check out Wednesday's @ WestWay.

If this is your first time visiting, you can pre-register your child/preteen/student (whichever is appropriate) ahead of time to make your arrival quick and easy. Pre-registration helps us have everything ready for your family so you can spend less time checking in and more time feeling welcomed.

Dress Code

What should I wear?

At WestWay Christian Church, you’ll see all styles of dress. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

Embarrass

Will you embarrass me?

We hope not! We want you to feel welcomed. You WILL NOT be singled out as a visitor. We don’t make visitors stand, raise their hand, or even fill out a card if you choose not to do so.
