WestWay Christian Church is an Independent Christian Church affiliated with the Restoration Movement. We are located in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and have been spreading God’s word throughout the community since 1951.

About God

There is one God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

Creator of all things visible and invisible

About Jesus Christ

God’s one and only Son, the one and only Savior

God’s holy word, Scripture. We believe God inspired the original writings of the Scripture and they were consequently without error

About Salvation

We believe the Bible teaches that salvation – the forgiveness of sins – is only by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ

Because of our sin, we are separated from God. We have no way to get back into a right relationship with God on our own. Biblically, we learn that salvation only comes from Christ; because He was crucified and killed we can be reconciled (re-joined with) God. And, it is because He rose again that we can be justified (walk newly) with Him.

While God does the work, we respond. In the New Testament, we see people responding in four ways: Belief, Repentance, Baptism and Confession
